Nicola Formichetti
The stylist behind Alejandro, Nicola Formichetti is known by his aggressively modern looks. He first met at her photo shoot for V magazine and claims it was an instant love.
Formichetti was born in Japan and grew up both in Japan and Italy, as his mother was from japan and his father from Italy. Formichetti is a stylist, working as an editor for many fashion magazines, plus being an advisor for numerous fashion brands. He attributes his unrestricted creativity to his multicultural upbringing, which was shared between Italy and Japan.
He has been involved in much of the fashion made for , for example the clothes for her performance at the American Idol in May 2010 and the covers for her second album .

I produce bespoke outrageous hats and head wear. My pieces are anarchist, rebellious, loud and extremely contraversial. I would love the oppertunity to make a hat for Gaga for her EMA appearence. Lady Gaga is one of my muses and i think her attitude and daring style would echo my hats perfectly. She is my ideal icon, I love her work and I just feel like she would adore my hats. I see fashion as a form of identity or a stylized form of expression that an individual uses as a form of display to the world at large. They see it as a way of presenting their inner being and I believe that everyone should have the ability to express their true selves through what they wear and how they wear it.
My goals, stemming from this belief, are to set out a totally new aesthetic unlike anything ever seen before and bring new attitudes to design that have never before been seen. Giving people new forms of expression and the opportunity to experiment.
Taking the above in mind I have designed a highly individual and cutting edge outfit for Lady Gaga to suit her personality completely, who she is, and what she represents.
