Alexander McQueen

The late Alexander McQueen was born in London 1969. He left school at the age of 16 and was offered apprenticeship in technical construction of clothing. In less than 10 years McQueen became one of the most respected fashion designers in the world.

He was known as a controversial fashion designer and most recently connected to the outland outfits worn by Lady Gaga in her “Bad Romance” video. Gaga was the late McQueen's unofficial muse, wearing his designs on both the red carpet and in her work.

In his Spring/summer 2010 runway show during Paris Week this year, the “Bad Romance” video replayed for the audience every design Alexander had shown.
He was found dead in his apartment and police are not launching an investigation, because it appears the death of the designer did not occur under suspicious circumstances. Alexander McQueen was 40.
